Rolfing is usually best done in a 10-series that balances the body in a way that pain and dysfunction often disappear. Some clients (I was one of them before I became a Rolfer) prefer to first focus on specific issues instead of committing to a 10-serie. Even here, instead of directly working on the area that hurts or is restricted, I address underlying causes.
